Showground asphalt areas on Koroit Street. Work has been completed on the showgrounds to extend the asphalt on our Koroit St strip. The area near the fence down to the animal nursery is now freshly asphalted and trade stands will be required to set up marquees on the asphalted strip not on the grass. The areas are divided into double car park lots which allow each trade stand a 5m frontage. The amount of grassed area behind each site varies from 3.5m depth to 10m depth. This area can be used to park vehicles. The following rules will apply to Koroit St in 2024:- • NO PEGS ARE TO BE PUT INTO ASPHALT • MARQUEES NEED TO BE WEIGHTED DOWN • CAR PARKING IS TO BE BEHIND TRADE STANDS ON GRASSED AREA • FRONTAGE OF TRADE STAND IS TO BE AT DESIGNATED WHITE LINE ON ASPHALT • ADDITIONAL FRONTAGE CAN BE PURCHASED IN 2.5M LOTS ONLY. We will have weights available for hire at the showgrounds for those vendors who are not able to supply their own. Hire fees will be $20 per set of 4 weights with $10 refunded on return of weight. General Terms and Conditions: Payment: Site allocation will be confirmed on receipt of booking fee. All site fees are to be paid in full by October 1st 2024. Use of Electricity – Trade Stands include the use of power to one (1) 15amp outlet ONLY. No additional power is available. A generator may be used by stall holders requiring additional power. Staff Passes – Two (2) staff passes are provided. All entrants require passes, additional passes may be purchased at $10 each. Site Maintenance – Stall holders are required to maintain their site in a neat and tidy state. Cartons and other recyclable materials are to be flattened, tied up and placed next to rubbish bins or in skips. Showbag Vendors: Showbag operators will be required to pay an additional fee for rubbish removal due to the large amount of cardboard to be disposed of after the show. This fee will be negotiated with showbag operators. Hours of Operation – The Warrnambool Show will be open on Saturday the 26th of October, 2024, from 9:30am until 10:00pm. • Stall Holders in the Wannon Rooms and Koroit Street will remain operational from 9:30 am until 6:30 pm. • Stall Holders in the Central Food Court will remain operational from 9:30 am until 8:30 pm. Hours of Setting up / Packing Down – Setting up for all Trade Stands can begin from Friday, the 25th of October, at 9am. All Trade Stands should be set up and all vehicles are to be parked by 8:30 am, Saturday the 26th of October. This is to allow sufficient time to set-up in a safe manner, and to allow for extra time in the event that an issue does arise. NO VEHICLE MOVEMENT ON SITE FROM 9am on Show Day. Friday Night Event: There will be an event held on Friday Evening from 5pm till 9pm. This will impact set up in the main Central Food Court and the Licensed Area near the shearing pavilion. There will be no access to this area for set up or vehicle movement during this time. Food stands may apply to open during this time. More details will be provided as these are finalised. Cancellation - Trade stand space holders who do not attend will forfeit their site fees.
